Navi, Marketa, Spencer and Suraj attended this year’s All Out event in Chicago last Saturday. It was absolutely surreal. Here’s what all went down!

Beer Garden Pre-Party

We arrived at around 3 pm and went straight to find sustenance. Did you know that a happy meal wouldn’t be enough for a grown adult? Well, Ketty did not. Her excuse was “I am too European and too fancy to know this! I don’t buy fast food,” but we said “Girl, it’s in the name. It’s called KIDS MEAL!” Once we arrived at the official pre-party, Ketty proceeded to hoover three veggie tacos, Suraj ordered wings and beer. Everything was delicious!

AEW had multiple scheduled photo opportunities with wrestling stars and refs. Navi and Ketty were stopped at every 5 steps by fans who recognized us from our videos! So far, the entire event was off to an amazing start. If you ever go to an AEW event that has a pre-party, we 100% recommend that you take the time to come early and hang out at the pre-party. The worst thing that would happen is that you’d get some delicious food. The best thing? You could meet wrestlers, content creators, and other fans and make new friends!

Going Into the NOW Arena

After a little bit of waiting and getting schooled on proper chest-slapping by @ambernicophoto (IG), we all made it through the press entrance and down into the stadium’s backrooms. To our complete and utter disbelief, we were walked right into the catering room where all of the larger-than-life wrestling personalities were just casually hanging out. And yes – this included Mick Foley!!! As we were trying to stay cool, @refaubrey approached us, hugged us and told us how much she loves our videos. This was an absolute twilight zone experience. After a little bit of awkward standing in the corner, @rjcity (IG) and @reneepaquette (IG) came to introduce themselves to us (like we didn’t know who they were!!!) and escorted us to the pre-show recording area at the top floor of the arena.

The word “escrorted” is doing a lot of work here. We were in fact chasing after RJ as that was the only tall body towering over the crowds. As soon as we left the elevator, we entered a public hall which was filled with AEW fans. Not even Don Callis was able to keep up with the pace of RJ and his bodyguard! Navi and Ketty ran after RJ along with @speedballmikebailey (YT), who was vlogging the entire experience. Meanwhile, Suraj and Spencer followed Don Callis, who got lost. Eventually we all got reunited at the pre-show taping location.

To our surprise, we were once again in the same room with the legendary Mick Foley, and felt so out of place. More and more wrestlers came by, introducing themselves – “Hi, I am Orange Cassidy,” “I am Britt, by the way,” – UM, WE KNOW! What an surreal experience! Marketa’s head popped right open when Britt Baker started speaking Czech, and we came to find out her grandmother immigrated from the Czechoslovakia.

Eventually, it was time to be on camera. They told us it might be hard to hear since we did not have ear pieces. They did not tell us we wouldn’t be able to hear anything at all! It was a truly spectacular way to find out we don’t know how to read lips, either. Despite that and despite our stage fright, we were told we did really well. I am not sure if that was a white lie, but we’ll take it! If you want to judge for yourselves, the pay-per-view is available on HBO MAX.

All of the All Out programming was excellent. Every wrestler seemed to be perfectly evenly-matched with their opponent, so it was impossible to tell how anything would turn out to be. The storylines were so compelling and we had the best time.

During one of those very intense match-ups, Steven Borden unfortunately suffered a real injury. This was Borden’s first pay-per-view appearance, and while it is unfortunate that the match was called off over the injury, some good news were later released by Tony Khan during the following press conference. The Normies attended the scrum and we were able to ask two questions! First, Spencer’s excellent question (8:50 timestamp) led to Will Ospreay challenging Kazuchika Okada to a match, and second question, posed by Suraj (32:05 timestamp), involved the creative process behind collaborative works, such as the one between Ospreay’s epic entrance and the team behind Assasin’s Creed franchise.

We were gutted when we found out about Pac’s passing. Pac was an extremely talented wrestler with impeccable physique and unique aerial style. He had a long career as a pro-wrestler with multiple promotions and found his home at AEW in 2019. We just watched Pac on Saturday, and we are at a loss for words. Multiple tributes have been posted by his colleagues and friends, including a word from Marina Shafir, a fellow Death Rider.

Going into Season 2, Snowfall was already becoming one of my favorite shows we’re currently reacting to. After finishing the season, it’s safe to say this was solidified. For a show that aired on FX, it had no business being this damn good.

Season 1 introduced us to three very different worlds: Franklin Saint entering the drug business, CIA operative Teddy McDonald devising a complicated plan to arm the Contras in Nicaragua in the fight against communism, and Lucia Villanueva scheming to take control of her family’s drug operation. Season 2 takes those three storylines and slowly begins to weave them together, placing much more emphasis on the personal cost of each character’s choices.

Franklin continues to expand his operation and make significant gains, but Season 2 does a great job of showing that his success comes with a price. Franklin is becoming a major force in his neighborhood, and that means he is bringing violence and addiction to it. His ambition also begins to strain his friendships, leading him to make difficult choices as a drug boss.

Then there’s Teddy, who truly earns his reputation as the “hardest working man in the country.” His storyline becomes increasingly intense as his operation faces challenge after challenge. Teddy becomes almost completely consumed by his mission to keep the operation alive and continue supplying weapons to the Contras in Nicaragua. What makes his story so interesting is how his obsession with the mission slowly destroys the life outside of it. Bringing his brother into the operation only increases the risks, while his relationship with Julia and his son, Paul, deteriorates. By the end, Teddy is willing to sacrifice his family and personal life for what he believes is the greater good.

Lucia and Gustavo, meanwhile, become the faces of the Villanueva family operation. The controversial takeover attracts attention from both in-family gangs and the DEA. Their discovery of DEA involvement, along with the realization that Pedro is the informant, corner Lucia into a precarious position. After killing her cousin, Lucia ultimately walks away from the operation she fought so hard to control, leaving her storyline on a surprisingly abrupt note.

Initially, I wasn’t a fan of how Lucia’s story ended. Her sudden disappearance felt really strange, especially after how important she had been throughout the first two seasons. However, learning that Emily Rios requested to leave the show because the heavy drug-related subject matter was affecting her mental health and potentially her own sobriety and recovery gave the storyline more context for me. While I still wish the character had received a more satisfying on-screen conclusion, knowing the circumstances behind her departure made the decision much easier to understand.

Snowfall isn’t just your run-of-the-mill rags-to-riches drug kingpin story that glamorizes the lifestyle. There are real consequences to your actions or inactions. Every major character is forced to make a sacrifice or pay a cost. Franklin gains power but fractures the relationships he once cared about and loses his morals. Teddy keeps the operation going at all costs, even if that means estranging himself from his family. Lucia gets closer to the power she desperately wanted, only to ultimately walk away from it.

That’s what makes the show feel so grounded. Snowfall isn’t simply another story about a drug kingpin building an empire. It’s about people sacrificing pieces of themselves to get what they want.

Season 2 takes everything that worked about the first season and raises the stakes considerably. The characters are becoming more fleshed out, the consequences are becoming more dire, and the lines between personal ambition, morals, and loyalty are becoming blurrier.

I’m officially locked in. I can’t wait to see what Season 3 has in store for us.

Whispers of Widow’s Bay seem to be haunting every conversation that starts with “What are you watching right now?” In fact, it would be difficult to come across someone who hasn’t at least heard of the name if they’re into television and pop culture. The series focuses on the fictional island town of Widow’s Bay, where a centuries old curse causes the island to be overrun by supernatural evils. Created by Katie Dippold, a writer who worked on Parks and Recreation, it is no surprise that this show is able to blend comedy deftly with the horror of it all. You can get a taste of that just by googling the show’s name as, “did you mean the next martha’s vineyard and definitely not cursed” pops up at the top of the page. Widow’s Bay has been the best surprise of 2026 so far. The mix of suspense, horror and comedy was so refreshing! From the writing, to the acting, to the post-production magic – it was simply stellar. Matthew Rhys totally deserves the Emmy for his lead role, but for me it was Kate O’Flynn who stole the show for her portrayal of Patricia. I have been recommending this show to all of my friends and family! It is an amazing ride from start to finish.

I feel like I need to place an order for a lazyboy because this show made a strong case for this item to be one of the furniture staples just in case the world ends.

I went into Widow’s Bay knowing absolutely nothing about it, and I’m so glad I did. As usual, Apple TV knocked it out of the park with this show; I swear Apple TV never misses. It’s hard to pin this show down to just one genre, but if I have to, it blends horror comedy with a bit of suspense.

What really surprised me was that the show did not rely on cheap jump scares to build tension. It did it through great writing and well-developed characters with a lot at stake. Also, what caught me off guard was how well thought-out the jokes were but simple at the same time. You won’t have to think too hard to get a laugh.

My favorite character from the show is Patricia, played by Kate O’Flynn, who was amazing and well deserving of an Emmy Nomination for Outstanding Supporting Actress.

I’ve already been recommending Widow’s Bay to all my friends and family. If you’re looking for your next series to watch, add this one to your watchlist. Just be warned, you’ll probably finish it in a single weekend because it’s that good. I already can’t wait for Season 2!

Apple TV continues put out bangers! We shouldn’t even be shocked anymore with shows like Severance and Silo on their roster too. Better yet, there is no waiting with bated breath for the announcement of another season because it’s already been renewed. We can only hope that Season 2 lives up to Season 1! Our trip started as one of those “maybe we should just wait” plans. Flights were getting expensive, and we had definitely procrastinated longer than we should have. For a moment, it felt like the whole idea might slip to another weekend. But then everything changed when we found out we had secured Saturday tickets to WrestleMania through On Location. That was all the push we needed. Rana, Marketa, and I (Navi) were officially going.

Zion National Park had been on my list for years, so pairing it with a Vegas weekend felt almost too perfect. From the moment we arrived, it lived up to every expectation. The park’s shuttle system made getting around easy, dropping us off at different trailheads while we just soaked in the views. Mornings and evenings were surprisingly cold, but once the sun came out, it warmed up enough to make hiking comfortable.

Our first day was spent exploring the Emerald Pools trails. It was the perfect introduction—scenic, peaceful, and not too intense. Afterward, we wandered over to the Zion Lodge, right in the middle of the park. We didn’t stay there (it’s definitely on the pricier side), but just sitting outside on the grass, surrounded by towering canyon walls, gave us a glimpse of what it might be like. We packed our own lunch, simple sandwiches and drinks from a grocery store, and honestly, it made the experience feel even more laid-back and personal.

Day two was all about The Narrows and a bit of hesitation. We almost didn’t do it, leaning toward plans to be lazy at the hot springs. The morning was cold, and the idea of hiking through freezing water didn’t sound appealing at first. We had even planned to wake up early for sunrise, but the strong winds convinced us to stay in bed a little longer. By around 10 a.m., though, the weather shifted just enough for us to go for it.

We rented wetsuit gear (called a bib), along with special shoes, socks, and a walking stick. We quickly learned that “waterproof” wasn’t exactly accurate, your feet absolutely get wet, but the thermal lining kept us surprisingly warm. The hike itself was incredible. Eight miles of walking through water, surrounded by towering canyon walls, felt like stepping into another world. At times, the water rose above our waists, and the current was strong enough to keep us on edge. Marketa nearly got swept away at one point, and we saw a young kid almost lose footing before his dad grabbed him. It was equal parts thrilling and nerve-wracking.

We made it up to the split and tried to push further, but the conditions made it impossible. Still, it was more than enough. The Narrows ended up being one of the highlights of the entire trip: cold, challenging, and completely unforgettable. Afterward, we treated ourselves to some well-earned coffee and food before heading back to Vegas.

We stayed at Gooseberry Lodges, and it was such a pleasant surprise. The cabins were tiny, cozy, and incredibly clean—much nicer than the photos online suggested. Even with shared bathrooms, the setup felt comfortable, and most importantly, it was warm after those chilly mornings.

Then came WrestleMania day. We had priority passes through On Location, which got us into a pre-event Twitch Lounge. It turned out to be one of the coolest parts of the experience. We got to meet some superstars like AJ Styles, Giulia, and Oba Femi, along with a bunch of creators and fans. It felt surreal being in that space.

Once inside the stadium, we explored as much as we could, walking the floor, seeing the ring up close, and catching Valentino Khan DJing live (Rana and Pat were especially hyped, while the rest of us quickly became fans). Our seats were great, even if we didn’t get the chance to step into the ring ourselves.

For many of us, it was our first WrestleMania, and it didn’t disappoint. The entrances. The energy. The crowd. It was all unforgettable. Bianca Belair’s pregnancy announcement was such a special moment to witness live. We even ran into a few influencers and creators along the way, which added another layer of excitement.

We only had tickets for Saturday night, and while we later heard Night 2 might have been even better, it didn’t take away from our experience at all. For our first time, it was perfect. It was about more than just the event. It was about being there together, learning from other creators, and sharing something new.

By the end of the night, we were completely exhausted. The girls grabbed an Uber to In-N-Out before calling it a night, while Suraj and Pat had plans to stay out longer. Though, we later found out Pat fell asleep at a food court table, which honestly felt very on-brand after a trip like this.

It was the kind of weekend that leaves you tired in the best way possible: full of memories, a little bit of chaos, and already thinking about when you can go back. Zion gave us a reason to return (Angel’s Landing is still waiting for us), and WrestleMania gave us a story we’ll be talking about for years.
